Surdovel - Progress Report |
Dear Regency Tower Residents,
 |
Units 206 and 306 |
Good Afternoon.
I hope that everyone is doing well.
Below is an update on the progress of the concrete restoration project:
The Concrete Restoration Project is back in full swing after Hurricane Dorian sidetracked the project for a week. The equipment and swing stages had to be removed and then reinstalled. At this moment, there are 10 swing stages working on eight (8) stacks. (See photos) It seems the most serious need for concrete restoration on the balconies are from the 10th floor down.

Stack #1 Repairs |
As far as the northeast end of the garage, the removal of the cars was completed last Friday. Cars parked in spots 27-28-29-30-31-32-33 & 48-47-46-45-44 were relocated to other parking spots in the garage. Metro has an additional crew dedicated to expediting this work so that the cars will not be out of their assigned spots for an extended period. The work is expected to begin in this area on Thursday, September 19th.

Balcony Floor and Railing Removal |
The sample balcony, Unit #101, has had the balcony floor waterproofed and, as of now, half the floor is tiled and the other half has the pewter-colored knock down finish. The railings will be sanded and electrostatically painted white. When this balcony is completed, it will be the model for all unit owners to observe.
The 28,000 square feet of Safari Gris 12 x 24 exterior tiles have been ordered and are due to arrive on a ship at the Port of Miami sometime this week. After the tile goes through Customs and to the distributor, it will be delivered to Regency Tower.

Exterior Paint Colors |
The Benjamin Moore paint colors for the building are painted on the Southwestern side of the building next to unit #206. There are two whites and one gray color. (see photo attached) The middle white square is for the walls and the right white square is for the balcony ceilings. The gray color is for the parapet walls on the roof and the 6-stack kitchen window column in the front of the building and on the
11-stack kitchen window column on the east side of the building.
Regards.
